Community Safety Alert – Sample Tax Email Scam

Given it is tax season, it is a great time to be wary of unsolicited emails that are fake.  Below is an example of such an email.  It is quite convincing and looks real.  If you are unsure, do not click on links and contact the company or government office at the publicly listed numbers to confirm.
