Let’s Celebrate International Volunteer Day

Dec 5th is International Volunteer Day so it is a perfect day to express our appreciation for all the volunteers here at South Cowichan Community Policing.   Thank you so much for your generous gift of time and energy.  Whether you are a Block Watch Captain rallying your block together with meetings and communication to help keep our homes safe; a Speed Watch volunteer who works rain or shine to help keep our streets safe; a Friendly Phones volunteer who brighten’s the day of someone who lives alone; or you are an Office Ambassador at our Community Policing Office greeting visitors with a smile and providing information to help keep our community safe; we value all of you and all that you do.

We like to say that SCCPAS is a volunteer-driven organization that provides South Cowichan Valley residents with RCMP-supported educational programs, information and services with the common goal of achieving:  Safe Streets, Safe Homes, Safe Communities.  You do this … your dedication and commitment help keep our homes, streets and this beautiful community safe.

A great BIG sincere THANK YOU!

Sincerely,

Julie Rosenthal, Program Coordinator
and all the SCCPAS Directors
