Call Before You Dig
Put safety first! Before digging on your property, ensure there are no underground utility lines. Some lines are buried less than 12 inches from the surface. Never assume utility lines are buried several feet underground. Locate underground gas and other utility lines on your property before you dig.
To request a locate, click BC 1 Call or call 1-800-474-6886 at least three business days before disturbing the ground. Visit the BC 1 Call website to view a checklist of information to have handy when requesting a locate.
