February 2016 . . . Lots of exciting things happening at South Cowichan Community Policing – we have started up 3 new Block Watches in the Shawnigan and Mill Bay (South Cowichan area) in the past month, and more to come….. stop in if you are interested in learning more about Block Watch (starting one up in your area), Speed Watch (monitoring speeds on our roads) or Friendly Phones (contacting older adults/seniors to ensure their safety), if you have some extra time on your hands and are interested in becoming a Volunteer stop by our office. You will notice we have added a new tab to our website for Pet Awareness – great way for sharing information on lost pets or other animals in the community.
