Ready, Set, Go … Get Your Positive Ticket!

The Positive Tickets program in South Cowichan has now launched.  For the third year in now, Shawnigan Lake RCMP officers are “catching kids doing good things”.  When the kids are caught doing things like wearing a helmet while cycling or helping in the community, they are rewarded with a “ticket” which can be redeemed at the Community Policing Office for a gift donated by a local business.  Their name is also entered into a Grand Prize draw which will be held in September.  This program is a great way to build strong relationships between our youth and the RCMP.  Visit our Positive Tickets webpage for more information.
