Community Policing is seeking Speed Watch volunteers!
Do you have a passion for keeping roads safe? Would you like to bring speed awareness to school zones, playgrounds, or problem speeding areas in your community?
Trained volunteers work in pairs, arrive in our Community Policing van, and use radar with a large electronic display to bring awareness to the speeds drivers are travelling on the roads.
Speed Watch Commitments:
- Attend a 2 hour initial training session
- Conduct 2 speed watch deployments per month (2 hours each), or more if you like!
- Attend monthly general meetings
All training is provided!
