Note from a Shawnigan Lake Citizen – Truckers and oversized vehicles need to keep in mind that there is a sign for a detour on shawnigan lake Rd for an alternate route through (west side).. East side of shawnigan Lake Rd is backed up completely where the train bridge goes over the road by Recreation road cause oversized vehicles cannot go under and are being turned around
